Terms and Conditions

East Cape Tours banks with First National Bank and Nedbank South Africa and make use Nedbank’s 3D secure credit
card payment system for payment processing. A payment link will be sent to your email address via Nedbank Iveri
Divert, which means East Cape Tours and their staff do not have access to your credit card details.
Cash or EFT Transfers: We accept cash and EFT transfers.
All payments need to be made in full and all bank charges are to be for your own account.

We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential. All premiums must be paid at the time of booking, as cover
will not be effective until then. Fifth Avenue 4×4 Adventure Tours will not be liable if anyone should fail to take
adequate insurance cover.

The air, train fares and taxes quoted are current and are subject to change without prior warning should the airline
or train travel provider impose an increase in rates for any reason. Should the fare quoted not be available at the
time of booking, the next applicable fare will be booked and amended costs advised accordingly. Please note that
fares may increase between time of booking, time of payment and the ticket being issued. East Cape Tours cannot be
held responsible should airlines or railway operators discontinue flights or train journeys on certain routings or
change scheduled timetables resulting in missed connections. Should an amendment in routing or itinerary be
necessary, any additional costs incurred will not be borne by East Cape Tours. Airfares and train fares are subject to
the prices and conditions quoted by the particular airlines and/or railways and cannot be guaranteed by East Cape
Tours. The onus is on the agent and the passenger to check that there have been no changes in these prices before
making final payment thereof.
Flights purchased on the clients’ behalf will be subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions.

We hope and expect to be able to provide you with all of the services we have confirmed to you at the time of
booking. We plan arrangements as long in advance of your holiday as you allow, using independent suppliers such as
hotels etc. over whom we have no control. On rare occasions, changes do have to be made, and we reserve the right
to make these.
Should events beyond our control occur such as covid restrictions, host or home government policies, notwithstanding the above we will without penalty reschedule the booking for a period up to 2 years from the date of
arrival. This applies up until 5 weeks prior to arrival, we will do our utmost to assist after this point but this will be
subject to the policies of the individual properties

All vouchers are only prepared on receipt of full payment of the package price and will be ready 72 working hours
after payment has been received. Should you require hard copies of your documents and air tickets to be forwarded
to either yourself or the departure airport and or train station, this may be arranged. These will be sent by e-mail.
However, the courier costs in respect thereof will be for your own account.
It is important that you check all details of your travel documents before travelling. If there are any inaccuracies on
any of your travel documents, or should you have any further queries, you should contact your agent immediately.
East Cape Tours will not be liable for any delay and/or loss occasioned as a result of any inaccuracies on any travel
documents once you are in receipt thereof.
Passports, Visas and Health
It is entirely the clients duty to ensure that all passports and visas are current, valid, obtained on time and will be
valid for 6 months after return to home country; and that any vaccinations, inoculations, prophylactic (e.g. for
malaria) and the like have been obtained where required. This also includes all necessary documentation required
for travelling with minors. This also includes all necessary documentation required for travelling with minors. There
are specific requirements for children under 18 travelling to South Africa, including but not limited to unabridged
birth certificates.
