This is Xigera (pronounced ‘kee-jera’), named for the pied kingfisher that makes its home amid the watery channels of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve.

• Search for Wildlife – Game drives explore further afield, where wildlife like lion, leopard, hyaena, buffalo and elephant can be seen.
• Mokoro Rides – This is the home of the sitatunga antelope and Pel’s fishing-owl. Keep an eye out for these and other special sightings as you float along the serene channels of the Delta.
• From the Skies – A helicopter game flight will take off right from the lodge. Guests are each given a headset to connect directly with the pilot, giving a unique opportunity to ask questions as you soar over the bush.
