Game Walks through the bush take place just after breakfast, on request. You will be amazed to discover animal tracks, dung, insects and trees and how they all play a part in an intricate ecological web. For safety reasons, children under 16 years of age are not permitted on walks.
Avid bird-watchers will struggle to replicate the quality of bird watching in the Timbavati. The Reserve is brimming with a number of species, both endemic and migratory that are a must-see for keen birders. Sightings range from the largest flightless bird, the ostrich, to the smallest sunbirds and highlights include black flycatcher, Harlequin quail and little bittern.
