Riverdene Family Lodge promises an unforgettable safari destination for families with children as well as travellers who enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The lodge looks out over the reserve’s vast plains and boasts various vantage points from which to view them. Its air-conditioned suites promise a comfortable refuge from the African sun. In addition to expert game rangers, a full contingent of lodge staff ensures that guests, both young and old, are well taken care of, wherever they may spend their time at Riverdene Family Lodge.

Riverdene Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in nine luxury suites with twin- or king-size beds. Three of these suites come complete with an additional sleeper couch and are ideal for families. All suites come furnished with an en-suite bathroom and a spacious living area complete with satellite TV. Additionally, there is also a beverage and microwave station in each room and guests have access to all of Riverdene’s stellar facilities. Meals are served in either the homely dining room or Boma overlooking the bushmans river . The lodge’s swimming pool looks out onto Shamwari’s plains. The lodge also boasts a Kids Club and Outdoor Adventure Centre.
