Bloemfontein

The great thing about Bloemfontein is it’s small, friendly feel which makes it one of South Africa’s most relaxed and welcoming cities.

It’s perfect for passing through and experiencing on a Lions Tour during your journey across South Africa. You can combine nature with the ‘Cheetah Experience’ or understand more about the Anglo-Boer War at the world’s only dedicated museum to the conflicts between 1899 and 1902.

Durban

Durban is one of South Africa’s coolest cities yet is often overlooked by visitors in favour of the popular places such as Cape Town and Johannesburg. However, Durban is known as the place with no winter and is the perfect holiday destination all year round. Temperatures in the winter months average between 16° C and 24°C meaning winter days at the beach are still very popular. This city has often been referred to as South Africa’s very own Miami Beach because of its beautiful beaches stretching the ‘Golden Mile’.

Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is South Africa’s most exciting safari destination. Steeped in legend and history, its vast landscapes and spectacular African wildlife are world famous. The park is internationally known as a home to the Big Five and is home to more than 12,000 elephants, 10,000 rhinos, 27,000 Buffalo and 2,500 Lions and Leopards. Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth, also known as the friendly city, is located on the sea in the Eastern Cape Province. Nelspruit

Formerly known as Nelspruit, Mbombela is the capital of South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province. It is the gateway to the Kruger National Park and is packed full of beautiful nature, gardens, vistas and wildlife. Here are our top five things to do in Mbombela.

Pretoria is one of the three capital cities in South Africa. The quiet city, located in North Gauteng, is the administrative capital of South Africa.
