    Singita Boulders Lodge ★★★★★

Singita Boulders Lodge Has A Contemporary Air Of Tranquillity That Honours Africa In An Authentic Way. Inspiring The Name Boulders Was An Enormous Boulder That Sat Right In The Middle Of The Place Where The Wine Cellar Was To Be Built.

A simple decision was made to build the cellar around the boulder! Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge, and the lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe wildlife drawn to the Sand River.

Singita Boulders boasts twelve magnificent, glass fronted suites with two double suites available for families. Sophisticated interiors in this contemporary lodge include earthy colours, textured fabrics, wooden furniture and natural stone. The luxury suites are air-conditioned; consist of sumptuous bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, an expansive living area with double-sided fireplace, mini-bar and fridge and private wooden leisure decks with a heated plunge pool. Impeccable attention to detail means nothing is absent from these stylish suites. With an air of authentic African tranquility the thatched, open sided lounge and lookout deck at the main lodge offer a perfect river view. There is a bar area, world class wine cellar, traditional open boma, gymnasium, health Spa and library.

    Family Suites

Ideal for families with small children. The family suites include an en-suite master bedroom and an en-suite twin bedroom as well as a dining and lounge veranda area with a stone fireplace, and a private viewing deck with heated plunge pool. There is a lounge and timber deck dining areas, where guests can watch African wildlife on the banks of the Sand River. The lodge also has a bar area and open boma (traditional outdoor enclosure) for dining under the stars. Guests can make use of the gym, health spa, library (with internet and computers) and the lodge pool.

This is Africa’s big game terrain, so twice daily game drives and morning bush walks are the order of the day on your safari in South Africa. In between you can visit the health spa and gym or enjoy a community tour. Only 6 people are permitted per vehicle, leaving space for photographic and binocular equipment. Driving in open safari Land Rovers allows for a panoramic vision of the bush. For guests wanting private drives on their safari in South Africa, specialised 4×4 safari vehicles can be hired.

Drinks are served in the bush on evening drives as a gentle introduction to the nocturnal bush. Night drives open up a totally new world and a powerful spotlight illuminates the shy and sometimes rare wildlife. At sundown, when the heat of the day has subsided, predators such as Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Black Backed Jackal and Owls start to hunt.
