Day 2

Breakfast at Rutland Lodge.

Between 8.45 and 9.15h pick up by Daytrippers: Guided Cape Peninsula Tour (day trip), which includes the fishing village of Hout Bay, Simonstown, Boulders Beach to see the penguins and a downhill bicycle ride into the Cape of Good Hope National Park.

Day 3
Breakfast at Rutland Lodge.

At leisure in Cape Town. Cape town is one of the world’s greatest cities and has a great nightlife and excellent inexpensive restaurants. You can hike or take the cable car up Table Mountain, go to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or take a boat trip to Robben Island where the South African icon Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for 27 years.

Day 4
Breakfast at Rutland Lodge.

9h Rental car will be delivered to Rutland Lodge.

Day 5

Breakfast at Le Ballon Rouge. Travel through to Hermanus, it is whale season so you should see plenty from the Bay. Accommodation will be in a sea facing luxury room at the Harbour Vue Guest House http://www.harbourvue.co.za/

Breakfast at the Harbor Vue, travel on to Oudsthoorn which is the famous ostrich capital located in the Karoo, overnight accommodation at De Opstal a working ostrich farm.

Travel through the Garden Route to Knysna which is in the heart of the South African Lake District. Accommodation at Knysna Quays self-catering apartments. http://www.knysna.ws

Explore Knysna with the stunning lagoon and the spectacular Knysna Heads. There is so much to do and see in this area.

Day 9
