The Rough Guide States "Pre booking your car with a travel agent before flying is the cheapest option, and will provide more favorable terms and conditions. Don't rely on being able to arrive at the airport and pick up a vehicle without pre-booking as the rental companies run out of cars especially during the week" The Rough Guide as ever is spot on.
We offer a wide variety of hire cars to suit your road travel needs. Cars are normally less than a year old and can be hired for one way rentals. For local journeys we can offer less expensive car hire with roadworthy but older vehicles. In Cape Town we can even offer V.W. Beetles hire cars (the original version)
In addition to arranging hire cars we will suggest stunning routes and accommodation to suit your pocket, you might also prefer us to collect you from the airport allow you to explore on foot and then have the hire car delivered to your hotel. A car is not necessary to see much of Cape Town, Durban or Port Elizabeth.
70% of South Africa's Roads are tarred mostly in reasonable condition so why not hire a 4x4 for a few days and visit places rarely visited by overseas visitors, again we can provide suggestions and places to stay.

Factors that could negate all insurance cover: * Gross or Criminal negligence * No other vehicle involved in the collision unless exceptional circumstances apply * Unauthorised drivers – i.e. names of additional drivers not listed on the rental agreement. * Not obtaining authorisation from the rental company to extend the rental * Not reporting damage to the rental company immediately * Not adhering to traffic, road and driving rules and regulations * Driving under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances * Unsuitable driving or road conditions * Unauthorised cross border rentals * Not being able to produce keys in case of theft unless exceptional circumstances apply * Not reporting exact details of the last known location of the vehicle prior to theft * Not reporting the loss to the rental company within 6 hours
