Day 1.Transfer from your Cape Town flight. We will collect you and take you to Sunflower Stop. Located in Green Point a few minutes walk from the City Centre and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Day 2.At leisure in Cape Town. Cape Town is one of the world's greatest cities and has a great nightlife and excellent inexpensive restaurants. You can hike or take the cable car up Table Mountain go to the Victoria and Alfred waterfront or take a boat trip to Robben Island. where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for 27 years. Day 3. We include a day trip with the Baz Bus to the fishing village of Hout Bay and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Day 4. A further day at leisure in Cape Town. |

Day 5. Take the Baz Bus to Mossel Bay where you can take a walk round the fishing boats in the harbour, visit the Diaz Museum or take a cage dive, where you would be lowered into the water wearing breathing apparatus, you should then come face to face with a great white. Rather you than me !!!! |

Travel on to Oudtshoorn located in the semi desert Karoo. Stay at Backpakers Paradise, which has a swimming pool and is a short walk from the Town Centre. We include The Swartberg Pass mountain bike day trip, which departs at 8:30am from the hostel. The 54km cycle trip starts at the top of the Swartberg Pass (1,584m above sea level) from where you cycle back to Oudtshoorn and are able to visit the world famous Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm (ride an ostrich), Wildlife ranch (to stroke a cheetah) and Camel farm all en-route in one day out in the country.

Day 8. You will take the Outinequa Choo Tjoe, one of South Africa's few remaining steam trains. On the spectacular route from George to Knysna. You will stay overnight in Knysna which is in the heart of the South African Lake District. Day 9. Spend the day in Knysna which is at the heart of the Garden Route and is on a huge lagoon, take a boat trip or wander round the craft stalls depart for our overnight stop at Storms River at 5pm.

Choose form a number of optional activities, for those brave enough, the worlds highest bungee jump with a drop of 216 metres, or enjoy some of the magic walks in the Tsitsikamma National Park, take a tree top canopy tour suspended in the giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees, or go abseiling, mountain biking, horse riding, snorkeling or just take afternoon tea at the rest camp and enjoy the stunning views.

We will then depart for Port Elizabeth where you will stay at Fifth Avenue Beach House, which is located 50 meters from Port Elizabeth's Hobie Beach and is a short walk to the Boardwalk which has good restaurants and a Casino.

Day 12. Day trip to the Addo Elephant National Park. This is the densest population of elephants in Africa and had lions reintroduced in 2003. The park is home to numerous other species, including zebra, wilderbeest, rhino, water buffalo, kudu, numerous antelope species, monkeys, aardvark, jackal, meerkats and the flightless dung beatle. |

Further day of leisure in Port Elizabeth, in the evening we include a township Shebben tour, this will be with Wiclif a specialist township guide who will take you to see the other side of Africa.
