R500 3-4 hours A Game Reserve located within the city limits, for those with limited time, 250 Hectares of lush coastal bush and grassland is home to a large variety of African game including Cheetah, Giraffe, Waterbuck, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Nyala, Warthogs, Impala, Rietbok, Bontebok and many more species.
This is an owner-managed animal friendly park; the animals roam free in unrestricted surroundings. No cages or pens.
Visitors to the park rate the easy sighting of large herds of game as the best feature.

Tsitsikamma National Park. Take a visit to one of South Africa's Gems drive along the coast road via St Francis Bay and visit the Tsitsikamma National Park, visit the worlds highest bungy jump if you would like, price 1,200 ZAR including entrance fee to the National Park.
Tsitsikamma National Park adventure option. Storms River is the adventure centre of the Garden Route, for those brave enough,the worlds highest bungy jump off the Bloukrans bridge, enjoy some of the magic walks in the Tsitsikamma National Park, take a tree top canopy tour suspended in the giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees,abseiling, Mountain biking, horse riding, or snorkeling, price for this option 1,600 ZAR including your choice of adventure activity.

Grahamstown and Port Alfred. This is settler country, see where the unfortunate people that came here to farm in the 1820's were supposed to live and farm. Visit Grahamstown now a peaceful agricultural and university city, visit the Cathedral of St Michael and St George and try and work out what part of England you are in.
For 2 weeks every year at the beginning of July Grahamstown comes to life with the Grahamstown festival. A visit at this time of year is a must here African Township Jazz at its very best. Accommodation is booked six months in advance so a day trip would be a good option.
The trip for the other 50 weeks a year carries on through Bathurst and the worlds biggest pineapple,take lunch in Africa's oldest pub onward to Port Alfred through Kenton on Sea and back to Port Elizabeth.
This is a very full day trip and again should be spread over several days and to include a stay at Kariega Park or Sibuya but again we will fit in as much as possible. Cost for this trip is 1,400 ZAR per person.
